The Judi is a middle weight drop spindle designed for forming a center pull skein of yarn. The bottom of the
shaft is notched to hold the starting end of the yarn. It is made of Padouk and Maple and weighs about 35 grams.
The shaft and whorl are glued together before turning to maximize concentricity.
