Cherry is rich red to reddish brown with fine straight grain and smooth texture. The eyes of Birdseye Cherry are not as pronounced as Birdseye Maple.  It does have reddish brown eyes over a background of reddish brown and cream flecks.   Cherry has medium strength and is springy.
